1. I praise God for joyful moments with my family. The spontaneous moments of fun that leave us all laughing until our sides hurt are such a blessing to me. I know those moments will be sweet memories.

Transformed

1. I praise God for the work He is doing in my life. It's not always easy, but it's worth it.
2. I praise God that I have been able to learn so much about His character during the most recent trials in my life. The things I have learned about Him have helped me to understand the character He desires for me to have.
3. I praise God for the wisdom He has given me. Without it, the last month of my life would have turned out completely different.
4. I praise God that He has given me the strength to follow His will, not the societal norms of the world. Again, not always easy, but very worth it.

Today was a good day, but I really don't feel well tonight, so forgive me for my brievity.
1. I praise God for sleep. I really love it and don't get nearly as much as I would like most times, but I am so thankful for the sleep I do get.

3. I praise God for the trust He is rebuilding.
4. I praise God for being so undeniably awesome. Regardless of what the circumstances are in my life, He is consistently amazing.

One month.

The little things.
So, last night I did not go to sleep as planned. Instead, I watched the Rangers game and ended up too excited to sleep, so I cleaned my house before going to sleep. Not what I had originally planned, but I was able to sleep in a little this morning and my house was still clean when everything was said and done. =)
1. I praise God that I was able to wake up to a clean house this morning. It was really nice to wake up and not have a house full of chores staring me in the face.
2. I praise God for the fellowship I had with friends and family at my sister-in-law's baby shower today.
3. I praise God for the little, special things. Something very small, but very special happened to me this evening. I am still smiling.
4. I praise God that I get to wake up and go to church tomorrow. What a blessing that I live in a country where I can freely gather with other Christians and praise the name of Jesus.

T.G.I.F.
This week felt like it was two weeks crammed into one. So glad it is the weekend.
1. I praise God for this week. It was long and exhausting but so many good things happened.
2. I praise God that my son was so tired tonight that he was asking to go to bed at 7:00. I just let him go to bed (at 7:40) so we could spend some time together, but am going to enjoy the early bedtime he took and the early bedtime it is going to let me have.
3. I praise God that I am at a point in my life where I am excited about getting to go to bed early on a Friday night.
4. I praise God that my super early bedtime tonight will allow me to be up early tomorrow. Then, I can finish cleaning my house before I get to go to my sister-in-law's baby shower.

Keeping my hands up...
What a very long day. I am so tired, but not too tired to give God His due praises...
1. I praise God for every little victory. Many little victories add up to a very large one.
2. I praise God for keeping me on the right path. It's not always the easy way, but I know it's worth the journey.
3. I praise God for the outpouring of love I see from so many people for that young family that lost everything in the fire. Being able to see God's love flow through others helps me to not get discouraged.

This is the stuff...
1. I praise God for protecting a young family I know who lost everything material in a house fire last night. No one was harmed and that is the most important thing. I also praise Him for the outpouring of love this young family is already receiving from people who are wanting to help. He is so good.
2. I praise God for the work I can see Him doing in other people's lives. It is such an incredible thing to see Him move.
3. I praise God for the things, little and big, He is using to refine me and teach me patience. I have prayed for years for patience, He is answering through giving me opportunities to learn that characteristic.

Blessing others.
1. I praise God that I am still able to be a blessing to others in my life.
2. I praise God for the time I had today after work. It was good for my heart and reminded me of the reasons I am holding on to hope.

Still suffering from allergies and not getting much sleep... Tonight will be brief so I can get to bed early.
1. I praise God that my neighbor offered to have my son over for a play date with her son. It gave me a few hours this afternoon to rest a little and get done the chores I had to do before my week starts without having a toddler underfoot.
2. I praise God for His continued strength.
3. I praise God for indoor plumbing, as it is allowing me the nice warm shower I am about to take. Hopefully it will relax me and help me sleep well tonight.

In the night, my hope lives on...
1. I praise God for pillow fights with my son. It doesn't matter what else is going on in my life, when that boy picks up a pillow and starts a pillow fight, it brings me so much joy. I also praise God for jumping on the bed. I am so thankful I have a "rough and tough" little boy.
2. I praise God for giving me the strength and grace to get through today. It was quite possibly the hardest day I have had to endure since this trail has begun in my life, but with His strength and grace, I was able to handle in a way consistent with the character He desires me to have.
3. I praise God that there is a gas station just 4 miles from my house. I was really craving dark chocolate and a soda with some caffeine today, if I had to drive all the way to town, it wouldn't have been worth the headache of getting out.
4. I praise God that my neighbor is one of my good friends. It is really nice to have someone so close to my heart be so close to my house.
5. I praise God that my son doesn't fight taking medicine. We have all been suffering from allergies lately and he is so easy to give medicine to. Sure makes the suffering not so horrible.
6. I praise God for the hope to keep holding on. If it weren't for His hope, I would feel pretty hopeless most days.

1. I praise God that I have food in my fridge and money in my bank account. It may not always be as much as I would like to have there, but it's always enough to meet my family's needs. I know there are millions of people around the world who aren't able to say that. I count myself blessed that I can.
2. I praise God that my husband and I are still able to laugh with each other nearly every day. In spite of our trials, we are still able to find moments of joy with each other. I cannot praise God enough for that.
3. I praise God for His wisdom and guidance. I would just make a big mess of things without it.
4. I praise God that He loved me first, that I may come to know and love Him through His son, Jesus Christ. It amazes me that He is able to know the depths of my heart and love me anyway.

Day 19.
Wow. I have been doing this for nearly 3 weeks now. It feels like I just started this yesterday...
1. I praise God that I can put my trust in Him. When I start to have doubts or fears about what the future holds, I know I can put my trust in Him and I will be okay. The peace that comes with that is amazing.
2. I praise God for my sweet son. I didn't get to see him much today because I got home late from work, but when he was ready for bed, he wanted me to stay in his room and cuddle with him for nearly 20 minutes. I am so blessed that he loves me.
3. I praise God for the warm shower and the allergy medicine I am about to take. My allergies have been driving me crazy the last couple days and I am about to get a little relief (and a lot of sleep!)
4. I praise God that He is able to use even the ugliest of situations to show His glory.
5. I praise God that He is in control.

Indescribable
1. I praise God for the peace He has given me during this trial.
2. I praise God for some of the healing He is doing. I know there is still a lot to be healed and it will take time, but He has started on some of that healing.
3. I praise God for His reassurance. Every time I feel myself doubt what I know to be true, He reminds me of His truth.

2. I praise God for some of the healing He is doing. I know there is still a lot to be healed and it will take time, but He has started on some of that healing.
3. I praise God for His reassurance. Every time I feel myself doubt what I know to be true, He reminds me of His truth.

Growing in grace
My day started very early with one of our dogs being sprayed by a skunk, so this one will be a little short because I am very tired. (Yep, God has a sense of humor with me still...)
1. I praise God for the work that He is doing in me. I know He still has so much to do, but I can already see the fruits of some of the work that He has been doing.
2. I praise God for the faith He has in my faith in Him. He must think my faith is strong with the trials He has been putting me through. That's pretty awesome to think about that.
3. I praise God for my coworker that I get to market with on an almost daily basis. The friendship we have developed over the last 5 months has really been a blessing to me.
4. I praise God for my son's sitter. She (and her family) have been so wonderful with my son. She has also been such a blessing to me on a personal basis. God provided her at the perfect time in our lives.

Amazing Grace
1. I praise God for His grace. I cannot praise Him enough for it. Without His grace and love, I would be a miserable mess.

3. I praise God that I was able to have such a joyful lunch with so many of my loved family members after church today. I am so blessed to have such an incredible family.
4. I praise God for His daily protection over me as I am driving. I spend a large amount of time in my car and He keeps getting me to and from my house safely.

He is an awesome God!
1. I praise God for tonight. My church had a potluck and talent show this evening and I had SO MUCH FUN!!! I'm sure I have said it before, but I LOVE my church and my church family. There are just so many amazing and wonderful people there and the heart for God is so strong. Tonight was such a blessing to me. God literally filled my mouth with laughter and my lips with rejoicing (Job 8:21.) I nearly talked myself out of going tonight, but made myself go and I was so blessed. Watching the children run around playing and listening to all the songs and skits was such a blessing to my heart. It was such a pure and honest joy that I was able to experience tonight and it was all because of God's goodness!
2. I praise God for the work He is doing in me. It's not always easy and we have done a lot of wrestling the last couple days, but I know if I just submit to His will and walk obediently with Him, He will bless me beyond my wildest dreams.
3. I praise God for His forgiveness. Without it, I would be lost.
4. I praise God for the seeds of faith my dearly departed Nana planted in me so long ago. It was a passion of hers to share her faith with me and I can honestly say I would not be the woman I am today without her. (I praise God even further that she is hanging out with Him now.)

1. I praise God for the wonderful night of sleep I had last night. It was the first night in almost a month that I got more than 4 hours of sleep (and it was straight sleep!!)
2. I praise God for the truth of the promises in His word. It is good to have something I can place my trust in and know I won't be hurt for it.
3. I praise God for my messy house. All the cleaning I will be doing tomorrow will be very cathartic and will keep me busy. I am going to crank up my favorite "cleaning" music and dance my way to a clean house.

Walking the road marked with suffering...
Some days are just harder than others. Today was one of those...
1. I praise God for the reminders of His love He puts in my life throughout the day. When I am at my weakest points, He sends a little love my way and it picks me back up.
2. I praise God for my son. Even when he's being ornery and driving me up the wall, he somehow helps me to keep my sanity.
3. I praise God for the rain we had today. It is the first time in a long time we have had rain at our house. It was so refreshing and wonderful.
4. I praise God for His ability to turn around even the worst days. His grace is sufficient.
5. I praise God that He never leaves me. In the moments I feel loneliest, He is there loving me and comforting me.
6. I praise God for the beauty that abounds in this world. I don't have to look far to see His glory.
7. I praise God that His love is able to keep hate out of my heart. These past few weeks have been enough to harden my heart for the remainder of my life, but He has kept it soft and full of love. That is such an amazing thing to me.
8. I praise God for the pain. I know He is using it to refine me and mold me into the person He desires me to be.
9. I praise God for my life. It is so full of blessings and goodness.
10. I praise God that He hears my prayers and cries and will answer in His time according to His will.
11. I praise God for Ibuprofen. My head feels like it is going to split open and I am so glad I can take something to help it.
12. I praise God for sleepless nights; I spend a lot of time praying during my sleepless moments.
13. I praise God for warm showers.
14. I praise God for the little things that drive me to the point of breaking. In those weak moments, He reminds me that those little things are, in fact, little things.

"...when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."
1. I praise God I got to have lunch with my beautiful sister-in-law for her birthday today. I also got to enjoy the company of another beautiful sister-in-law, my mother- and father-in-law, one of my nieces, 3 of my nephews and my sister-in-law's father-in-law. I am glad my day happened to work out so I could be there.
2. I praise God for the hardest days. Those are the days He is carrying me and I am so thankful His love overcomes.
3. I praise God for His steadfastness. He is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. In an ever changing world and life, it is so comforting to rest in His consistency.

(my brain is too tired to think of a title...)
I am tired and my brain feels like mush. Let's see if I can string together coherent thoughts.
1. I praise God for the darkness; it helps me to appreciate the light.
2. I praise God for the rain in our region today. We didn't get any at our house, but I smelled the rain (it's been a long time and I sure do love that smell) and I got to play outside with my son for a bit because the cloud coverage actually made it tolerable to be outside for more than just a couple minutes.
3. I praise God that my son was ready for bed early tonight. We had a good time this evening and now he's tucked away in bed, so I can get all my stuff done. Maybe I can go to bed early tonight, too. (Doubtful it will actually happen, but a girl can be hopeful.)

Blessed be Your name...
A very long day, today. Had to be at the surgery center before dawn to have my son's tongue corrected, had to care for a "post-op" toddler all day and tried to catch up on housework. (Of course, I am not caught up on housework, due to my #3 praise for the day!) Oh, and I am feeling extra thankful today, so I have 5 things...
1. I praise God that my son had no complications with the anesthesia he had to have for his surgery today. The whole thing went so quickly and he is doing so well. Thank God!
2. I praise God that my husband was at the surgery center with me this morning. I am very glad that I didn't have to endure that alone and was so thankful for his comforting hug when they took my baby away to the operating room.
3. I praise God for the nice, long nap I was able to take this afternoon. I have really needed a good sleep like that and I finally got one. I could have slept all afternoon if I hadn't have been woken up, but I am still so grateful for the sleep I did get.
4. I praise God that the wildfire near our house today stayed away from our home.
5. I praise God for little victories. Each little victory makes me more hopeful for an ultimate victory.

The good stuff...
1. I praise God for the experience of watching the children at church perform their song they learned at VBS this past week. All those kids, standing in their "armor" of God and singing about being in the Lord's army was such a blessing to me. What an incredible way to start the day.
2. I praise God that I had the ability to cook a wonderful dinner for my family tonight. I know that I am infinitely blessed to be able to go to my fridge full of food and be able to create a healthy dinner for my family in the comfort of my own kitchen.
3. I praise God for my 3 year old niece. The way she lights up when she sees me warms my heart. She is so precious and I am blessed to have her in my life. Really, I have to praise God for ALL my nieces and nephews (there are currently 9 with more on the way!) I love them all so much!

It is well with my soul...
God is so good. He is taking an ugly mess of a time in my life and using it to teach me more about His grace.
1. I praise God that I was able to have lunch with my best friend today. Her friendship has been such a blessing throughout the past ten years of my life. God has been so awesome to give me a friend like her.
2. I praise God for helping me to find balance. The chaos doesn't seem so overwhelming anymore.
3. I praise God for all the work He is doing behind the scenes. "Look among the nations and watch-- Be utterly astounded! For I will work a work in your days which you would not believe, though it were told you." Habakkuk 1:5

Walk this way...

1. I praise God for giving me the strength to "walk on my high hills." If it weren't for His strength, I would find myself acting like a person I don't want to be. I want to be able to look back at this time in my life and know that I behaved according to the character God desires me to exhibit.

When I am weak, You are strong.
1. I praise God for giving me strength when I am not strong enough to do it on my own. At my weakest moments, His strength shines the brightest.
2. I praise God that I live in an industrialized country and have clean water with which to wash my clothes, dishes, etc. I often gripe about washing dishes or doing laundry, but it sure is a blessing to be able to stand in the comfort of my own home to do those chores.
3. I praise God that I have a job. Even more so that it is a decent paying job that I enjoy. In this economy, I know that is a huge blessing.

1. I praise God for placing so many people in my life who care about me.
2. I praise God for conviction. It's not always an easy pill to swallow, but when I get it down, I am able to have that much deeper a relationship with my Lord.
3. I praise God for music. It seems every song I hear is exactly what I needed to hear at that moment. I want to leave music going non-stop right now.

Days like these...
When your Monday morning begins with your backseat being covered in vomit by your 2 year old, you just know it's going to be a rough one. Just because it's been such a tough day, I am going to find 4 things to praise God for.
1. I praise God that whatever caused my son to be sick this morning did not stick around all day. It is so rough having a vomiting toddler and I am SO thankful I didn't have to endure that ALL day. Thank you, God, for having mercy on me with that one.
2. I praise God for Dr. Pepper. I know it sounds trivial, but I sure do enjoy a nice cold glass of it on a hot day. I love the flavor and the feeling of the bubbles tickling my tongue. I know all good things come from Him, even the little ones.
3. I praise God for my son's spontaneous hugs and his sweet spirit. He frequently stops whatever it is he is doing to run across the room or down the hall just to hug me. His little arms wrap around me in love and it melts my heart.
4. I praise God that He doesn't give up on me. Even when I have my down moments and feel myself falling, He still catches me and covers me with love. I am so thankful that in my moments of weakness, His strength is able to be glorified and my shortcomings can be covered by my Lord, Jesus Christ.
